Tamera's Roasted BBQ Cauliflower

  • 1 Large Head of Cauliflower

  • 1/2 cup milk , unsweetened if not dairy

  • 1 1/4 cup of flour

  • 3 cups of panic breadcrumbs

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic

  • 1 teaspoon granulated onion

  • 1 1/4 cups barbecue sauce , more if needed

  • Preheat oven to 450° F (230° C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Then in a shallow pie pan add Breadcrumbs, and 1/2 teaspoon each of Garlic, Onion, and 1/4 teaspoon of Salt. Mix it up good and then set it aside.

  • In a large bowl then whisk together the Flour and 1/2 teaspoon each of Garlic, Onion, and Salt. Now pour in the Milk and Water and mix it all together. The batter should be thick, but still pourable and you can always add more water or milk to make it less thick.

  • Break off pieces of Cauliflower and then dip them into the bowl covering each piece all around...then roll over breadcrumbs and place the piece on the baking sheet one by one and give them all a little space....basically just make sure they aren't touching.

  • Place in the oven for 10 minutes and then turn them and cook for another 10 so they are golden and crisp.

  • After the 20 minutes is up, remove em from oven and brush each piece with BBQ sauce and put them back on the baking sheet.

  • Once you've covered them in Q, bake for another 8-10 minutes to cook the sauce right into it. You can use spicy BBQ to make it more spicy if you want.

  • Remove from the oven and then drizzle with your favorite dipping sauce...like ranch.
